The Wait is over

First, thank you so much for being here. It means more to me than you know.

Writing this book has been one of the most personal things I've ever done. It meant revisiting some of the darkest chapters of my life openly and honestly. Some people may wonder, "Why on earth would you want to air your dirty laundry like that?"

The answer is simple.

Because I hope it helps someone else.

The truth is, a lot of men—and women—are struggling behind closed doors while appearing to have it all together. I know, because I was one of them.

I worked hard. I built a business. I raised a family. My wife and I traveled, went on cruises, and enjoyed the life we'd built together. From the outside, everything looked good. Great, even.

But inside, something was missing.

I wasn't fully present.

I distracted myself with financial success.

I wasn't leading well—at home or at work.

My relationship with God had become distant. Faith had become more of a routine than a relationship.

Before I knew it, I'd built my life around drinking instead of around what mattered most. I used alcohol to bury the pain and trauma I'd carried since childhood.

This book is the story of that journey—not just through pain, but toward healing, faith, and purpose.

If you've been doing everything you thought you were supposed to do, yet still lie awake at night with anxiety... if you've ever wondered whether you're drinking too much... if you've ever looked successful on the outside but felt empty on the inside... I know that feeling because I lived it.

That's why I wrote this book. I hope it reminds you that no past is too broken, no addiction too strong, and no life too far gone for God to redeem.
