Choosing Jesus in a Chaotic World

When I slow down and really think about life, I see two very different paths a man can walk.

One is choosing Jesus—inviting Him to walk beside you, guide you, and help clear your vision.

The other is choosing the world—letting circumstances, emotions, outside influences, and culture determine your direction.

I've lived both ways. And I've learned that choosing Jesus is always the better path.

Why Is It So Easy to Drift Away From God?

The difficult thing is that life can feel "fine" for a while without a strong relationship with God.

Things go smoothly. You feel good. Life moves along.

And yet, something inside can still feel disconnected. Something is missing.

Then a crisis hits.

You lose a job. A relationship breaks down. Addiction takes hold. You experience a loss you weren't prepared for. Life shakes you.

Suddenly, you're calling out to Jesus for help.

He answers. He steadies you. You pray more. You promise yourself that this time will be different.

Then life settles down again.

The prayers become less frequent. The connection begins to fade. Eventually, you're right back where you started.

That was my life for a long time.

Finding Faith in the Hardest Moments

Whenever I hit a low point, I would pray hard, promise God I'd do better, and commit to acknowledging Him more in my life.

But as soon as I felt okay again, I drifted back into my old patterns.

I've learned that faith can't just be something we reach for when everything is falling apart.

Today, I've chosen differently.

I've chosen the Jesus way, and I'm connected to Him like never before. I'm unashamed to wear my cross. I'm unashamed to speak His name.

And the daily dedication that once felt impossible has become the foundation of my life.

Choosing Jesus Every Day

Life is full of opinions, influences, distractions, and noise.

The world can be chaotic, and if you're not careful, it's easy to get pulled right into that chaos.

But you don't have to stay there.

You get to choose your path.

You get to choose what voice you follow.

You get to choose what you build your life around.

I believe God is real. And the sooner you settle that truth in your heart and mind, the sooner your life begins to align.

Not because following Jesus means everything suddenly becomes easy.

It doesn't.

It means that when the difficult moments come, you're no longer walking through them alone.

Not just during the crisis.

Every day.
